Covid Updates and BCCS ESSER LEA Use of Funds Updates

In response to the pandemic, Federal Funds have been allocated to BCCS to assist in safely returning to full face to face instruction. The BCCS ESSER III-ARP LEA plan for the use of funds allocated to our school is attached below. The Governing Board reviews the ESSER III Use of Funds Plan each month at its meeting. Input and feedback on the use of these funds is welcome and encouraged. The plan was also reviewed at our first PTO meeting of the year, and will be continuously reviewed as we progress through the year. The school based its ESSER III ARP budget on the needs and information gathered in the School Improvement Planning Process. It is our hope that the learning loss and emotional stress that resulted from our students' time away from face to face instruction will be addressed positively with the use of these funds. We are also using the funds to continue the services that were in place before the pandemic, and to recover some of the budget cuts made as a result of the pandemic. 

TRANSPARENCY FOR THE USE OF FUNDS IS A MANDATE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AS WELL AS PROVIDING ACCESS TO ALL UPDATES IN THE BCCS PLAN FOR MITIGATING THE SAFE RETURN TO SCHOOL. WE WILL CONTINUE TO POST UPDATES TO OUR COVID PROTOCOLS HERE AS WELL AS ANY CHANGES MADE IN THE USE OF THE ESSER ARP LEA FUNDS.
