Wayne Partridge English Classes:

Required supplies for Wayne Partridge's 9th, 10th and 12th grade English classes:

One copy of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers by Joseph Gibaldi, sixth edition (ISBN: 9780873529860).

A supply of sticky notes (plan on using about a dozen for each day of class)

A supply of black or dark-blue ink pens. Please do not buy the kinds that "click". Those cause a distraction during class. The Bic pens you can buy twelve for a couple of dollars are perfect.

A supply of college-ruled loose leaf (not spiral-bound) notebook paper.

Two one-inch (spine), three-ring binders (must lie flat when opened)

A device for storing electronic work. The best choice is a USB memory device variously known a "flash", "jump", "thumb" drive or "memory stick". No need for anything fancy; a 16 MB drive will work just fine.
